We're heading into the fourth week of the NFL season, and I think we're starting to separate the wheat from the chaff. We're really starting to see which football teams have it this year and which can't even pretend like they can hang with the big boys. That makes this the perfect time to visit the "Best NFL Team in 2008" list on UnSpun.
Looking at it, I'm actually moderately surprised, as of my writing this, the New England Patriots are still sitting on top of the list. Oh, don't get me wrong, they're a great team, but without Tom Brady I'm pretty convinced that they're not the best in the NFL. Indianapolis, currently with a record of 1-2 is sitting in the second position. Do we actually believe that they have just been unlucky thus far? Now, the Giants and the Cowboys, both at 3-0, are in positions 3 and 4. I might put them higher, but it certainly doesn't seem like they ought to be much lower.
Take a look at the whole kit and caboodle (and click here if you don't see it below):
This is really one of those fun lists. It's one of those lists that you need to come back to so you can update your rankings as the season progresses (the Pats might have deserved the top spot prior to their opening week's game, but they don't now). Just you watch this list change as the season progresses, you see who slides to where and what happens. Maybe we'll even talk about it again in the future.

Plans for the skywriting were announced ahead of time , with Beck encouraging witnesses to email her photos. She was inspired by the "Surrender Dorothy" skywritten message in "The Wizard of Oz." http://www.mtsconverter.de
"It's obviously a very open-ended and consequently puzzling sort of project," she said of Sunday's event. "I can see why it would leave people with questions." http://www.mtsconverter.de/mts-converter-for-mac.htm
